I remember my grade school days when I had to clean the backside of my classroom filled with wild grass and plants [part of embedding young students of discipline]. One of my favorite plants were these leaves that don't absorb any form of liquid. When it rains, my friends and I snap them off and use them for umbrellas. It was mesmerizing watching the raindrops in clear circular blobs slide down on the pad and splash towards the rest of the greenery, which welcomes the rain with open arms.
